SEO Specialist

Job Description

OctaVertex Media is hiring a Part-Time SEO Specialist to help scale organic visibility, search rankings, and inbound lead generation across client and internal projects. We are looking for someone with strong practical SEO experience who understands modern search ecosystems, content optimization, technical SEO fundamentals, and growth-driven strategies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across websites, landing pages, blogs, and e-commerce platforms while aligning SEO efforts with business goals. You will work closely with our marketing, content, and development teams to improve website performance, search visibility, and organic conversions. This is a paid remote opportunity with flexible working hours.

Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO for websites, e-commerce, or service-based businesses
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Experience with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
• Understanding of keyword research, content strategy, and search intent
• Basic knowledge of Core Web Vitals and website performance optimization
• Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or modern CMS platforms
• Ability to independently manage SEO tasks and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
• Optimize website pages, blogs, metadata, and content structures
• Monitor search rankings and SEO performance metrics
• Identify technical SEO issues and coordinate fixes with developers
• Build and execute backlink and authority-building strategies
• Improve local SEO and Google Business visibility where required
• Collaborate with content and marketing teams for SEO-driven campaigns
• Prepare monthly SEO performance reports and insights
